League of Legends Grades
After each match, you will receive a grade similar to the ones you get in school for your performance, ranging from D- to S+. There are many different factors that can affect the grade you receive since Riot probably won’t release full details about their grading system in order to prevent players from forcing their score. Your performance depends on your choice of hero, the role you play with it and then your overall performance is compared to the performance of other people in your region with a similar choice of the champion and the role. It’s important to know that your performance does not solely rely on your kill-to-death ratio or even the number of CP points you managed to earn but it’s a rather complex algorithm that takes everything you did during the match into account. For example, players who choose support heroes don’t need to have a lot of kills at all but they need to do their role well according to their champion.
What Does It Take to Get An S Grade?
There are still several different factors you need to keep an eye on if you want to receive an S rank in League of Legends and you will notice that they are not based solely on your kills and deaths. First of all, your CS or Creep Score is very important and that is why you should always farm and last hit creeps in order to earn gold. Kill-to-death ratio is also very important since you can also get a lot of kills with a large number of deaths which doesn’t really prove that you played the game well. Earning a lot of kills with as few deaths as possible is the goal. Players who play support can also contribute with assists which Riot started counting as kills recently. Other factors include chasing objectives such as drake, turrets, etc. Additionally, you should use wards quite often and you should deal a lot of damage. Stealing a lot of kills in order to improve your kill-to-death ratio definitely won’t earn you an S rating. One thing you can affect in order to receive a good grade is how other people play with that champion in that certain role which means you will have to be in the top percentage with this combination in your respective region.
