Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce

As uncovered by Inverse, a leak posted on anonymous image board website 4chan allegedly contains information on the sequel to Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Although the original post has now been deleted, a transcript of the leak was copied onto Reddit. The leak claims to have a lot of significant information, including the game’s title which is apparently “Bond of the Triforce”. Gameplay of the Breath of the Wild sequel will be quite different from the original in that both Link and Zelda will be playable characters. Players will be able to switch between them “in real time”, with Zelda best suited for clearing puzzles and presumably Link for combat. “Zelda tags along with link in the overworld and now can harness the power of nature to assist link such as changing the weather,” the leak claims. The leak also touches on some of the gameplay details, stating that animals will “play a much larger role” in gameplay. There will be new weapons and enemies, which of course is something to be expected from a sequel. On the visual front, the game resembles Breath of the Wild “a lot”, and the music is supposedly a remix of the Legend of Zelda 2 title theme. As far as leaks though, this one seems less crazy than some of the other ones we’ve scene. The source is tagged as an unnamed former Nintendo employee, though 4chan isn’t always the most authentic of websites. With that said, take all of the above information with a grain of salt. The leak also notes that a Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce trailer is due “relatively soon”, so it won’t be long before we learn more about the game via official channels.
