Now, as Ishan Agarwal tweets an official statement from the company:
Reassures that it is a South Korean Gaming that owns and developed PUBGM. #PUBG #PUBGM #PUBGMobile pic.twitter.com/0qeHCexrH7 — Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) September 8, 2020 Now, as the long statement reads, it is a politically correct one from the company. It states that due to technical issues and some disagreements between the two countries, the app was banned in India. They also believe that it was due to the information breach that the country believes that they should ban these. To fix these issues, the PubG admin added that the company would revoke its publications rights from Tencent games: the Chinese conglomerate. Additionally, they added, that the company would look for local distributors and publications to support the project in order to re-enable the app in the country. It is true that there are a lot of users generating traffic from India. While some people may resort to using VPN services, many would not and obviously this would hinder the company’s operations.
