After Redmi A1, another Redmi A smartphone named Redmi A1+ will debut soon. The phone has earlier appeared on various certification sites confirming its existence. Today I have renders alongside full specs of the upcoming Redmi A1+ smartphone.

Redmi A1+ Renders and Specs:

As per the information I have, I can confirm that the Redmi A1+ will be very similar to Redmi A1. The only major between two phones will be inclusion of fingerprint scanner on the back of the Redmi A1+ , which is missing in Redmi A1. Other than that, both devices will share same specs and design. Redmi A1+ will be powered by MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Its front will boast a 6.52″ HD+ scratch-resistant display with a 1600 x 720 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz touch sampling rate, going up to 400 nits of peak brightness. At the back, the handset will utilize a fingerprint scanner. On software side, it will run on Android 12 OS with stock UI. For photography, the phone will feature a 8MP main sensor with an unknown secondary sensor. The V-shaped water drop notch will house a 5MP lens for selfies. A 5000mAh battery with 10W charger (provided in-box) would back the device in terms of power. The phone will also get a single speaker next to the USB port, for media consumption. Connectivity options include support for 3.5mm headphone jack, a Micro-USB port, Dual Nano SIM, dedicated microSD card support up to 512GB, VoWiFi, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Lastly, the device will launch in three color options: Light Green, Light Blue and Black. At present, the Redmi A1 costs INR 6,299 in India and EUR 99 across Europe. With the addition of fingerprint scanner, we can expect Redmi A1+ priced slightly above its non-plus version.
