In April, EA announced that the Switch version of Burnout Paradise remastered will be available on June 19th. With only a few days to the release of the game, EA has gone into detail regarding the content, gameplay, and graphics of the Switch version.
The massive open-world of Paradise city, its rural areas, and the Surf Island are back in full glory with enhanced textures and visuals. Even though the destruction of structures in any game takes a huge toll on hardware, EA has decided to retain it as it is one of the crucial aspects of Burnout’s gameplay. The game will run at 60 FPS on the switch; however, the resolution is not disclosed yet. An educated guess would be 720p on handheld and (upscaled?) 1080p on the dock mode. All other features such as ranked mode, more than 150 cars to add to your collection, and 120 unique events are present. Lastly, you can pre-order the game now from the Nintendo e-shop. It costs $10 more than the other versions at launch, i.e., $50.
