Now according to a report from Videocardz, the next-gen GPUs from Nvidia will go into mass production in August. If the rumors are to be believed, these graphics cards may launch in September. The graphics cards are going through different phases of productions. The chart leaked by Igor’s lab shows that these are currently in Engineering validation tests. The design validation test is going to be in the coming month, which debunks the earlier leaks. However, it is said that the leaked design could be one of the two designs that Nvidia is considering. The same chart also shows that mass production will start in August, and the release date will probably be in September. Lastly, Nvidia may be shifting its release schedule this time around too. The flagship graphics card, the RTX 2080 Ti was launched alongside the RTX 2080 for the first time when GeForce RTX Turing GPUs launched in 2018. This time around, a new SKU fittingly called RTX 3090 would be launched alongside the usual RTX 3080. It is very early to assume that the xx90 will replace xx80 Ti graphics cards. We will have to wait for the official launch to confirm it.
