Now Google has more ambitious plans for its payment service. According to a report from Androidpolice, Google wants to make Google Pay a one-stop-shop that also handles payments. Reports suggest that the application could become a shopping portal if retailers and shippers agree. Google is working on a complete overhaul of the Google Pay application. It would have links to gas stations, merchants, convenience stores, and other shopping services. The idea is very simple users will place their orders via application and payment will also be handled by the application. So the user will not have to leave the application. There is a Google shopping application that features hundreds of stores, but Google may retire it after upgrading the Google Pay application. These are, of course, rumors, so one must take these with a grain of salt. If Google’s history is to be believed, there are many instances where the company undermined its own services for the sake of other services. Lastly, following Apple, Google is also making a physical debit card for its services.
