— Wccftech (@wccftechdotcom) September 14, 2020 As the tweet states, the company has made a new deal which is somewhat of a surprising development. The company, for a change, took precedence over the chip manufacturing giant: TSMC. According to the article, Samsung bagged the deal when it claimed to be providing a larger manufacturing scale on a smaller price point. This is no doubt a great deal since rumors suggested that the Snapdragon 875 chipsets would come out at a higher price point. A higher price point would result in more expensive flagships. With Samsung’s involvement, this price may be cut by a lot. Not only would it benefit the companies using it but it would benefit Samsung as well. Final users would be happy with this deal as well. According to the article, Samsung would be making about 850 Million Dollars from the day. Now, we do not know what this deal would entail. Currently, there would be two versions of the flagship chipset. These would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 and the 875G. Currently, we do not know if Samsung would be taking on both of the chipsets. Additionally, we do know that the company would be manufacturing less premium models of SoCs as well which include the 700 series and the 400 series. The savings in the price would be the best thing, perhaps, to come out of this deal, in our premium.
