The Last of Us 2
Critic reviews for The Last of Us 2 were revealed earlier this month, and almost all of them were overwhelmingly positive. Meanwhile, user reviews tell a different tale. On release day, the initial user reviews for the PlayStation 4 exclusive were through the roof, but things changed on the second day. Almost all of the near 2000 negative reviews are targeted towards The Last of Us 2’s story. While most of the negative reviews agree that the game is great on all fronts including graphics, gameplay, and combat, it appears they’re not fans of the story. Arguments against the game’s “bad” and “boring” story are loudly voiced in all almost all negative reviews. The negative reviews have the usual bigoted remarks relating to “politics” and “SJW agendas”. While a high profile game like The Last of Us 2 getting review bombed isn’t anything new, it still sad to hear such disappointing news. Currently, the game has a total user score of 3.4 out of over 5000 user reviews. That’s insanely low compared to the exceptional Metascore of 95. While I highly recommend against it, you can head here to read the user reviews. Alternatively, you can read the critic reviews here, which are much more pleasant than the user scores. The Last of Us Part 2 is out now exclusively on PlayStation 4. Set five years after the events of the first game, the game puts you in control of Ellie on her dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States.
