Discord is extremely famous amongst ‘Gamers‘, as it is their go-to platform for communication, say in a Warzone match or in a Minecraft SMP server. One of the best features offered by Discord is its endless possibilities for server formation. Today, Xbox announced to introduce Discord voice chat in their Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles stating that Xbox gamers will now be able to chat with anyone on Discord through voice channels or group calls directly from their consoles. Consider this as a form of multi-platform communication. No longer will you need to use complicated methods just to communicate with your buddies.

How to use Discord on your Xbox

In the words of Microsoft:   As of now, this feature will only be available for select Xbox Insiders and it will expand as the weeks go on. This is a great move by Xbox enhancing their ecosystem’s experience because crossplay is only fun when you’re able to communicate with your teammates. Discord can be considered as Xbox’s trump card and a feature that’ll give them the upper hand over Sony’s Playstation because Discord is not natively supported in the latter consoles.
