The quarantine season has mostly favored the gaming industry (in terms of revenue and reach), with more and more people playing everyday the demand for gaming components is on the rise. So, one would expect that Xiaomi will release more (currently the company offers only one 34-inch 144Hz monitor), high-refresh gaming monitors, at competitive prices. Its sub-brand Redmi has also launched its first monitor called Redmi display A1 (1080p, 60Hz). Reports suggest that Xiaomi is working on another gaming monitor. According to pricebaba daily, it will be a 27-inch monitor with a refresh rate of 165Hz. The monitor may release in China as early as next week. Other technical specifications of the monitor are not revealed yet. If the gaming monitor is similar to the one Xiaomi released earlier, we should expect high-end features like high-dynamic range, better contrast, and reasonably good color accuracy. It may also feature AMD’s FreeSync technology.
